For the 1893 Mock Congress, Thencanic Society President Samuel Wood proposed this bill to establish a National College (University) in Washington, D.C. This document includes the text of the bill, the proposed members of a committee to establish the school, and the voting checklist (the bill passed, 16 votes to 7); said checklist contains the surnames of most of the Thencanic's members at this time, although not all can be conclusively identified.
