A report by a Thencanic member known only as "Critic." It refers, with tongue-in-cheek seriousness, to the other members' poor appearance and behavior. Transcript available below.

Henry W. Ott, the Critic for the meeting of November 10, 1893, offers stern remarks to his fellow Thencanic members, chiding them for their bad behavior and grammatical/oratorical errors. A transcript is attached below.

A review of a meeting of the Thencanic Society by Harry R. Wilson. Although the report is not dated, Wilson was Thencanic Vice-President in 1897, so this likely dates to shortly before then. "Mr. Camp" is once again chided for his behavior, while "Mr. H. Lawrence" and "Mr. [Charles] Hewitt" receive some tongue-in-cheek remarks. Transcript attached.

A harsh note on the poor behavior of the boys in the Thencanic Society. No year is given, but a mention of the Society lasting 13 years points to circa 1895 if it was founded in 1882. The Critic's name is somewhat illegible, and cannot be linked conclusively with any known student. Transcription included.

A partially fragmented critic's report by one Milton R. Eastlack. Though sections of both pages are lost, the message is mostly comprehensible. Eastlack discusses the Society's new meeting room, corrects the orators' grammatical and rhetorical errors, and offers commentary on the students' behavior. Transcription attached.
